How to buy
Buying a used car from Wontacar is really easy, simply choose the best option that works for you.
You choose the price
Yes, you read it correctly! For a selection of the cars we sell, you can choose the price you pay. Our 2-tiered pricing structure applies to certain cars, depending on how they come into stock. Tell me more.

1. Reserve online & test drive at our main hub in Chester
Seen a car you love on our website and want to test drive it before you decide to buy? No problem! Simply reserve it online by clicking the reserve button and complete the transaction online with a fully refundable £99 reservation fee. We'll reserve the car for three working days and will contact you to arrange a suitable date to view the car and test-drive.
We'll then have the car ready for your visit and you'll get a personal one-to-one appointment to ask any questions and take it for a drive. You'll just need to bring your photo card driving licence and we cover everything else like insurance. For any reason you change your mind and don't want the appointment, just give us an email, text, WhatsApp or call and we'll cancel the appointment and refund the reservation fee.
Please note: If an appointment hasn't been arranged within 3 working days of reserving, we'll automatically refund the £99 reservation fee and will put the car back for sale.

2. Click & collect from 1 of 20 North West locations
It couldn't be easier to buy a car from Wontacar online! Seen a car you love on our website and just want to buy without test driving? No problem! Simply reserve your car online for £99 from the comfort of your home, choose what price you want to pay and pay the balance of the car including a £129 delivery fee to conveniently collect from one of our 20 office hub locations within the North West. This option includes a 14-day money back guarantee to ensure you love it.
How it Works
1. Find a car you love on our website
Simply click the reserve button and complete the online checkout. You'll receive an email confirmation to confirm we have received the £99 reservation fee of the car and will take it off sale. Don't worry if you change your mind, the reservation fee is fully refundable.
2. Get to know your car better
Our customer service team will give you a call to arrange sending you a personalised video tour of the inside and outside of the car. We can also arrange a live video call so you can ask any questions during the call and video of the car.
3. Arrange payment and collection
Once you are happy with everything, simply arrange payment for the outstanding balance over the phone with our customer service team and choose a convenient date, time and click and collect location to pick up your new car. View all locations available here
4. Collect your car
At the appointment, our customer service handover specialist will provide a personal one-to-one service to familiarise you with your car and demonstrate various features. Then he or she will finalise all the paperwork. Then just hop in and drive away to enjoy your new car.

Click and Collect is available Monday to Friday 9am - 4pm.
Important Documents needed for collection
You'll just need to bring your passport or photo driving licence plus a recent utility bill such as a Council Tax bill with matching name and current address (dated within 3 months of the collection date).

You will need to make sure you have taxed and insured the car before you collect.
